On Friday, May 3rd, Rutgers University Women in Neuroscience (RUWINS) will be holding a seminar featuring Dr. Wen-Cheng Xiong from Georgia Regents University. The RUWINS Seminar Series features prominent women neuroscientists who share their latest research, experiences, and personal journey to success with students.
Following each lecture is a luncheon open to both undergraduate and graduate students where they can sit down and speak with the speaker about science, issues and options for women exploring careers in science, and other matters of interest.

Visit the American Museum of Natural History with the Douglass Sustainability Committee!
Join the DSC for a trip into New York City to see the exhibit “Our Global Kitchen: Food, Nature, Culture” at the American Museum of Natural History on Saturday, April 20.
We will meet at 10:50 am on Saturday in front of the New Brunswick Train Station to take a CoachUSA bus to the Port Authority in New York. If you would like to pay the student rate ($16 round trip), you must buy your ticket ahead of time at the Rutgers Student Activities Business Office. You will need to buy at MetroCard to ride the subway once we get into New York (the fare for two subway rides is $5). Please bring money to buy lunch once we get into the city.
Admission to the museum will be covered by the Douglass Project for Women in Math, Science, and Engineering. To attend you MUST RSVP and commit to attending by Friday, April 12 and so we can buy tickets ahead of time.
